Time flies. The first half of the year has already passed and the summer weather is upon us again. Therefore, we at Active Business Solutions wish all our customers, suppliers, business partners and other friends of the house a very good summer.

It has been a great first half of the year

It has been an exciting and good six months, and during the year we have been busy developing and streamlining the business processes of our customers and giving them insight into their business data, and we are very much looking forward to continuing the good cooperation on the other side of the summer vacation.

But now that summer is finally upon us, let's get out and enjoy it.

Under the name Active Business Consultants Inc., we opened a new division of Active Business Solutions in Chicago this spring.

With the establishment of Active Business Consultants Inc., we want to strengthen our position on the ERP market as well as expand our geographic presence in general.

We see it as a step on the way to achieving our long-term growth ambitions and an important part of our ambition to be able to deliver a better service to our American customers.

Reduced staffing during the summer period

The summer holiday season is already in full swing, and we, like most other companies, have vacation that need to be completed during the summer.

However, this does not mean that you cannot get in touch with us during the summer period. This simply means that urgent tasks during the holiday period will of course be carried out, to the extent and at the pace that is possible.

The launch of Business Central 24

Microsoft released the latest version of Dynamics 365 Business Central in April. As usual, the new version was released in connection with the rollout of one of the year's two Dynamics 365 release waves.

With Business Central 24, Microsoft introduced a wide range of functions and completely new possibilities that improve the application:

• Additional features in the AI-based Dynamics 365 Copilot
• More Power Platform templates that support additional business scenarios out of the box
• Improvements to the project, service and financial management functions
• Ability to manage access to environments in more detail and strengthened data protection
• Multiple options for analysis mode, and Power BI and Excel layouts are up and running and ready to go
• Increased availability, optimized performance, stability and resource management, as well as better security and compliance

2024 release wave 2 and Business Central 25

Already on the other side of the summer holidays, Microsoft releases news about the upcoming Dynamics 365 and Power Platform upgrade waves, which will be rolled out from October 2024 to April 2025.

With the two upgrade waves, Microsoft releases new versions of the apps that make up the business platforms Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, including a new version of Business Central. You will of course be able to read much more about this here on our news blog.
