AI Agents
Just as the PC did before, artificial intelligence (AI) is set to transform the way we work and become an indispensable part of the workplace. AI has the potential to reduce errors and stress, while adding automation, thereby increasing productivity and creativity.
What are AI agents?
AI-based agents are intelligent programs designed to perceive processes and contexts, process information, and act autonomously to achieve specific goals on behalf of a user or another system.
Why agents?
Businesses that embrace and use AI agents can increase efficiency, achieve cost savings, and improve employee and customer satisfaction. Microsoft’s own research indicates that nearly half of business leaders expect to redefine their business processes with AI within the next five years. This means that proactive adoption of AI will be critical to success in the future of work.

The AI-powered agents in Business Central work autonomously, handling tasks, responding to incidents, and overcoming errors with minimal user intervention. They can act on behalf of a company, department or team and only involve users when necessary.
