Dynamics 365 / CRM - July update
User interface update - Unified Interface
The upcoming update includes, among other things, an improvement of the user interface that will both combine and improve the interface. This will be a significant facelift for Dynamics 365 and will make the application more accessible than ever. It is especially the usability for mobile users the new update has as a first priority. For example, the improvements will include a brand new activity timeline in the mobile application with embedded actions, new custom controls, and enhanced offline mobile functionality. Additional updates include new theme options, improved support and an updated visual design, where the user interface will appear fresher.
The enhanced user interface is just part of an even more comprehensive update of the Unified Interface, where the design of the mobile, tablet and web appearance is much more consistent and uniform. However, Unified Interface will initially only be used in the Business Edition. Enterprise Edition will still be on the older interface, but will get a user interface face-lift on the web client.
Virtual Entities
Virtual Entities allows you to integrate data from external systems into the interface via web services.
