A new technological era with Microsoft AI
AI (artificial intelligence) is in the process of changing companies across industries and the new technology ushers in an era of sweeping changes that will be characterized by innovation, efficiency and unprecedented opportunities.
And right now we are only seeing the early start of the development of AI technology, which will continue to automate, optimize and change large parts of the economy as we know it, far into the future. Therefore, it is also important for company managers and other business decision-makers to understand the latest developments in artificial intelligence and thus be at the forefront of technological developments.
As one of the leading players in AI, Microsoft has already implemented AI in several of its business apps and services. Below we have taken a closer look at some of Microsoft's AI capabilities.

Dynamics 365 Copilot - Free up resources with AI
ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, and to some extent also CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, are for many companies extremely important sources of customer and business data, but often require time-consuming and laborious tasks such as manual data entry, generating content and taking notes. Dynamics 365 Copilot takes advantage of the recent technological advances in generative AI to automate this type of trivial and time-consuming tasks and thus free up important resources and, not least, unlock the creativity and potential of your employees.
Dynamics 365 Copilot automate trivial and time-consuming tasks
In Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics 365 Copilot automates and streamlines the creation of product descriptions in your webshop. Copilot uses the product's characteristics such as colour, material and size to create credible product descriptions for your e-commerce platform in just a few seconds. The product descriptions can be further customized by choosing the tone, format and length of the text. The Business Central customers who use the Shopify e-commerce platform can easily and with just a few clicks publish the products and the generated descriptions to their Shopify webshop.

Microsoft 365 Copilot - AI in your office apps
The AI-based copilot is integrated into Microsoft 365 in two ways.
Microsoft 365 Copilot is built into the office apps you use every day in your daily work, for example Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, where the service contributes to making your everyday life easier by increasing your productivity and skills.
The Business Chat AI service is a chatbot feature that works across your Microsoft 365 apps and can summarize information based on data from your calendar, emails, chats, documents, meetings and contacts. All you have to do is give Business Chat a natural language prompt such as 'Let my team know how we updated our product strategy' and the chatbot will automatically generate a status update based on meeting transcripts, emails, entries in your calendar, chat threads and more.
With the AI capabilities in Microsoft 365, you can, among other things:
- Microsoft Designer
Create AI-generated images, by simply using a plain English prompt. - Better search experience
When you use the new AI-based Bing and Edge browser, you will experience improved search functionality. In addition to getting better search results, you can also create content with Bing's new AI-based chat experience. - Microsoft Editor
Whether you need to write a report, an email or a post on LinkedIn, you can put your trust in Microsoft Editor in Word and do it with confidence and peace of mind. The AI-based writing assistant helps you with everything from spelling and grammar to clarity and readability. - Copilot
Copilot in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OneNote can increase your productivity, help you get started with your documents and presentations faster and quickly give you insight into your data or emails.

Azure AI - AI-based services
Azure AI consists of a number of AI-based services that are designed so that developers and data experts can streamline their everyday lives and create greater value for the company.
With Azure AI, you take part in decades of development and research as well as responsible practice in the development and use of artificial intelligence, as well as the flexibility and agility that Microsoft offers with Azure AI, so that you can confidently develop and roll out your own AI-based solutions.
With Azure AI, you get access to a number of AI-based high-quality models for speech, language and decision-making. The AI models run via simple API calls, and you can create your own machine learning (ML) models using an AI-based supercomputing infrastructure, familiar tools like Jupyter Notebooks and Visual Studio Code, and open source frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, all of which support Microsoft's principles of responsibility for working with and developing artificial intelligence.
