AppSource is an app store where companies can find and test business relevant SaaS apps, meaning you rent software from Microsoft and its many business partners.
Business applications
Microsofts thought behind AppSource are, in their own words, to create a better world for their business customers. AppSource is supposed to be a platform where companies can download mobile business applications from the cloud to enhance the management of their business and increase sales. The idea is that it should be just as easy as it is for private customers to download applications, for example for music listening, health improvement, ordering a hotel room etc.
Currently there are more than 200 business applications available.
AppSource will launch in autumn 2016.
